Background
The Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Ltd found Glencairn through a google search and promptly picked up the phone to find out more about our services.
Steamship London was established in London in 1909, and underwrote mutual P&I and Freight, Demurrage and Defence cover (FD&D) until 1974.
They had a brief look at out website and although they didn’t see exactly what they wanted they asked us if we would be able to supply a gift that would be suitable to use at corporate events around the world.
The Brief
In 2009 they celebrated their centenary and wanted to find an appropriate gift to give to delegates and members who attended their conferences and dinners around the world. They had a budget, a deadline and a host of corporate brand guidelines to adhere too.
They wanted something that was modern and at the same time traditional and they needed it for several events scattered throughout the duration of the year.
What We Delivered
In the end they opted for two stunning affordable and modern lead free crystal double old fashioned tumblers decorated on the base and packaged in a silk lined presentation box branded and supplied in their colours to their branding specification. We even drip fed the sets over the course of 2009 and shipped them directly to the destinations around the world.
To help take their centenary to the next level, we sourced and supplied luxury gift bags to hold the glasses and other giftware that was being supplied to delegates. The overall presentation was exceptional and delivered on time and below budget.
