East Kilbride based Glencairn Crystal joined over 150 of the UK’s most innovative and resilient public and private sector businesses as a finalist in The National Business Awards sponsored by Orange and presented by Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg. M.P.

Glencairn Crystal were finalists in the Santander Small to Medium Business of the Year Award category and M.D.  Paul Davidson was delighted with the nomination. He said; “The National Business Awards is the UK’s most prestigious business recognition platform with its particular emphasis on success, innovation and ethical business. And although we did not win, we are thrilled to have been nominated in this years Awards with such a high-profile opposition.”

Product Development director, Scott Davidson added: “The total number of organisations entering the National Business Awards this year increased by over 40 percent compared to last year despite the challenging market conditions.  The diversity of the finalists is staggering, and we were delighted to be competing at this level.”
