Glencairn enjoyed a great weekend at the Celtic Classic in Bethlehem, PA. With over 275,000 visitors the event was a huge success. Special thanks to the organisors at the Celtic Cultural Alliance and the good people at Southern Wine & Spirits.
The Celtic Classic is the largest highland gathering and celtic festival in North America, possibly the world. It hosts the US National Pipe band and Highland Games competitions, for which Glencairn Crystal is the competition sponsor.
As well as supplying trophies and other sponsorship to the event, Glencairn also helped in putting together the Glenlivet Tasting Experience in conjunction with Southern Wine & Spirits. With the help of George Reppert and Christina Durst we hosted various sessions for upwards of 50 people educating them in the joy of drinking whisky from the Glencairn Glass.
Overall it was a huge success with thousands of converts to the Glencairn Glass and the Glenlivet Single Malt!
